Fourth of July Block Party

This July, we wanted to connect with our neighborhood and a local church by throwing our first block party! God had been leading us to connect on a deeper level with our neighbors and helping them through difficult seasons in their life. With God’s guidance, we decided to throw a block party and invited our neighbors and members of HighRidge Church to encourage people in our neighborhood to connect with others in hopes to create long-lasting relationships.

HighRidge Church is a new church plant in Rocklin, CA that was established in January 2022. This block party was also a great opportunity to help this new church grow and connect with different communities in the area. We invited the church members to join to not only share the Gospel but also to share their church to people who may be looking for a church home which will help build relationships and support that our neighbors had been expressing that they needed.

We hope to continue partnering with HighRidge Church and throwing more block parties in different neighborhoods in the surrounding cities in the future.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind., This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37–39.

“Finally, all of you be like-minded and sympathetic, love one another, and be compassionate and humble, not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you may inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter 3:8–9.
